1. About these terms

These terms govern your use of the Shift Stack ("the Service"), operated by [LEGAL ENTITY / ABN]. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms.

2. The Service

The Shift Stack is software that helps allied-health and manual-therapy clinics run their practice: patient tracking, an objective score, reports, AI-assisted letter drafting, reminders, reactivation, economics, and an optional Cliniko integration. It is a practice-management tool, not a provider of clinical, medical, legal, billing or tax advice.

3. Your account and clinic

• You must provide accurate details and keep your login secure.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for your team's use.
• You must be authorised to enter and process the patient information you put into the Service.

4. Clinical responsibility

You, the clinician, remain solely responsible for all clinical decisions, records and communications. AI-assisted features are draft-only: you must review, verify and approve every document before it is used or sent. The Service does not diagnose, treat, or make clinical decisions.

5. Subscriptions, trials and billing

• Paid plans (Core, Pro) are billed monthly or annually via our payment processor (Stripe).
• New standalone accounts start a 14-day free trial; course-member offers may differ.
• Fees are shown at sign-up and may change with reasonable notice.
• You can cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: breaching any law (including privacy and health-records law), infringing others' rights, attempting to breach security or access other clinics' data, or using it to send unlawful or misleading communications.

7. Data

Our handling of data is described in the Privacy Policy. In short: your clinic's data is yours, kept isolated per clinic, and not sold. See the Privacy Policy for how patient information and AI processing are handled.

8. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties including Google Firebase (hosting/database/auth), Stripe (payments), Anthropic (AI drafting) and, if you connect it, Cliniko. Your use may be subject to their terms.

9. Availability, disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other non-excludable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms. On termination you may request an export of your data within a reasonable period.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified. Continued use after changes means you accept them.
